Basic Echocardiography

An subject that examines the basics of cardiac imaging, the types of heart images, and some calculations that are taken from cardiac imaging as the efficiency of the heart muscle. There is a laboratory for this material and there is training in the hospital

FOURTH YEAR

In the fourth year of the specialty of cardiac technology at Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University: The fourth-year students are divided into two sub-specialties. Students of the first sub-specialty are taught about everything related to invasive Cardiac catheterization and its equipments in both the therapeutic and diagnostic terms. Students of the second major are taught about Echocardiography, which is a cardiac examination using ultrasound. And accompanies the study in this year to the students going to the fieldwork (going to the hospital) at the rate of three days a week in both semesters to be able to study the information and absorb it on the real ground.

BLS & ACLS

A course taught to both sub-specialties. In this course, students study the basic points in life support and how to behave in situations that may occur to young or old victims, including cardiac arrest, or sudden choked-up. Also ,Advance cardiac life support, in which students learn all cases of heart failure. The course contains laboratories without a visitation to the hospital.

ECHO sub-specialty:

Advanced Adult ECHO I

In this course, students are taught about the basics of echocardiography, as well as many cardiac diseases and how to diagnose them through echocardiography. This depends largely on the fundamentals of echocardiography. In addition, there is clinical part of this course.

Advanced Cardiac Catheterization I.

In this course, students study the basics of cardiac catheters with more expansion in the course topics, as it includes all types of cardiac structures lesions, such as bifurcation lesions, chronic totally occluded lesions. And methods of treatment and treatment of valves through therapeutic catheters, such as mitral stenosis by balloon mitral valvoplasty. Hospital cases should be attended by the students and include them in the logbook during their visitations to the hospital.

أساسيات الايكو (Basic Echocardiography)

مادة تدرس اساسيات تصوير القلب، وأنواع صور القلب، وبعض العمليات الحسابية التي تؤخذ من تصوير القلب كمدى كفاءة عضلة القلب. يوجد معمل لهذه المادة كما يوجد تدريب بالمستشفى

السنة الرابعة

في السنة الرابعة من تخصص تقنية القلب بجامعة الإمام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل:
تنقسم الطالبات في هذه السنة إلى تخصصين. يتم تدريس طالبات التخصص الأول عن: قسطرة القلب ويتم تدريسهن في هذه السنة عن كل شيء يتعلق بقسطرة القلب الجراحية من كلا الناحيتين العلاجية والتشخيصية. يتم تدريس طالبات التخصص الثاني عن: تخطيط صدى القلب وهو فحص للقلب باستخدام الموجات الفوق صوتية. ويصاحب الدراسة في هذه السنة إلى ارتياد الطالبات إلى العمل الميداني (الذهاب إلى المستشفى) بمعدل ثلاث مرات في الأسبوع في كلا الفصلين الدراسيين ليتمكن من دراسة المعلومات واستيعابها على ارض الواقع.

(BLS & ACLS) أساسيات دعم الحياة والدعم المتقدم للقلب

مادة تدرس لكل من التخصصات الفرعية. في هذه المادة، تدرس الطالبات النقاط الأساسية في دعم الحياة وكيفية التصرف في المواقف التي قد تحدث للمرضى الصغار والكبار، بما في ذلك السكتة القلبية أو الاختناق المفاجئ. أيضًا، دعم الحياة القلبية المتقدمة، حيث تتعلم الطالبات جميع حالات قصور القلب تحتوي المادة على مختبرات دون زيارة المستشفى..
